Biomechanics & sports injuries

Are you suffering with foot or lower limb pain when participating in sport or physical activities? Contact Elliot and Sarah Trotman for help with biomechanics and sports injuries in the Gloucestershire area.
Biomechanics is the study of the structure and function of the lower limb. Discrepancies in the function of the lower limb can cause pain in the feet, ankles, knees, hips and back.

These discrepancies are often exaggerated in people who are very active leading to pain that can restrict a person from participating in their chosen activity or sport.
Common conditions include:
• Plantar fasciitis
• Shin splints
• Knee pain
• Heel pain

Insoles known as orthotics can be prescribed to help control the discrepancies in the lower limb, reducing stresses and strains within the body which can lead to pain.
Contact Elliot and Sarah Trotman today for help and advice with biomechanics and sports injuries.
